Summer Sylvans: STEM: June 24 – 28 from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm: This camp remains at the museum and has the children conduct fun science experiments and learn through STEM activities. We will have the kids build items, discuss forestry professions that use STEM, etc. In 2022, we learned about potential energy, made catapults out of popsicle sticks, completed a build a tree challenge, created index card towers, learned about chemical reactions with a potato battery, etc. A camp for children entering 2nd – 5th grade in the fall. The camp is every day from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm (Noon) and costs $50 per child (scholarships available upon request). Registration for camps opens on March 4th.
