Historicial Development: T. E. Jones operated a shingle mill in Center during 1909 and 1910. In 1909, he bought a gasoline engine from the I. F. Miller mill. Jones also obtained a planer from I. F. Miller, which he mortgaged in January 1910. Later that month he mortgaged his “entire shingle mill.”
