The Texas Forestry Museum offers these family-friendly annual events.

March

Reading Railroad

Wednesday during Lufkin ISD's Spring Break
Area children are invited to the Museum to listen to local celebrities read at various stations both in and outside of the Museum.

East Texas Historic Sites Tour

EEK! Week (Environmental Education Kamp)

First full week
Children entering grades 5th, 6th, or 7th in the fall are invited to a day camp where they will travel all over East Texas learning about our heritage and some of the exciting things it has to offer. For more information, contact the Museum at 936-632-9535 or [email protected].

Timber Tots

Second full week
Children ages 3 through Kindergarten gather at the museum for a morning full of theme related activities. For more information, contact the Museum at 936-632-9535 or [email protected].

Summer Sylvans

Last Full Week

Family Day

Second Saturday

Santa Claus Express

First Friday
